ABOUT LISA ALLEN, FOUNDER of GOOD SPARK
Lisa, a proud GenX'er, spent her childhood exploring the American West— hiking, camping, and road-tripping her way to an enduring love for nature. In the 90s, her mom’s passion for yoga and healthy eating introduced her to a wellness-focused lifestyle long before it was cool and trendy, though it wasn’t until her late-20s/early 30s that she truly embraced its significance.
When Lisa wasn’t road-tripping, her weekends were a vibrant mix of craft fairs and creative energy. She loved spending time in her grandparent’s garage-turned-woodworking shop, tinkering away building small wall shevles and furniture for Barbie's, Spending weekends at craft fairs while her dad sold his handcrafted wooden wares and her godparents sold their handcrafted silver jewelry, Lisa’s appreciation for artistry and the value of creating something meaningful was woven into her life early on.
As a graphic designer-turned-project manager, Lisa worked for about 15 years as a creative project manager in consumer products.
She witnessed firsthand the behind-the-scenes waste and fleeting lifecycles of many items. This sparked the creation of Good Spark—a brand rooted in a desire for sustainability, creativity, and inspiring kinder choices for a better world.
Through Good Spark, Lisa combines a lifelong love of nature, craftsmanship, and wellness to offer products that make a positive impact—on people, the planet, and the way we live.
